Adopt!

Every 8 seconds, a shelter animal dies in the United States. If you are looking to add a member to your family, adopt! Check out our adoptable pets today.

At Urban Pet Project, we make sure each pet we adopt out is spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm (canines) or leukemia (felines) tested, and microchipped. In addition, we do rescue animals that face medical challenges and provide all veterinary care needed.

Because adoption fees do not cover the cost of care for our rescued pets, we rely on donations from compassionate animal lovers just like you! Here is what your donation allows us to do (at reduced veterinary prices):

$15 – feeds one animal for one month

$25 –tests one animal for heartworm or feline leukemia

$50 – Vaccinates one animal

$200 – Vets one animal (spay/neuter, vaccines, testing)

$250 - Cares for one animal for one month including food and day-to-day care

$350 – Treats one dog for heartworms

Volunteer

It is very simple – we can’t operate without our amazing volunteers! But there is one problem – we need more!  

At Urban Pet Project, we provide a variety of volunteer opportunities so that you can find the perfect role. Becoming a volunteer is easy – fill out our volunteer application, attend a volunteer orientation, and you are ready!
